Second post...

Finished it!!  I will not do the corners that way again, but I love it so much anyway...live and learn and enjoy the journey, right??  Pinks just make me happy...don't know why, I just think spring and fun when I work with this color!!
We had the opportunity to sneak away to Wyoming for a couple days!!  It is just so beautiful there...I won't make you see all the pictures, but here are a couple to enjoy.
Grand!  Teton!!  Gorgeous!!

Have a great day, all!!

Julie

The pink string quilt is gorgeous!

I'm sad that I was unable to meet you in Jackson. I am going to take a rain check in case you get this way again. Okay?

Another wonderful string production, Julie. Even though pink is not my color (I lean to coral and salmon), this quilt just glows and makes me smile!
I love the Tetons. They are only a few hours from home and we have vacationed there many times. Did you get to Jenny Lake, Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point? Those were some of our favorite haunts. Hmm, thinking about all of this makes me want to go back. : )

The quilt is quite wonderful! I have only flown over the USA mountain ranges and not seen them up close and personal like your photos. Thanks so much for sharing those spectacular views!

I just love your scrap quilts. You have motivated me to pull out my scraps and try one. I also want to hit the thrift stores and collect plaid fabric.

The pink string quilt turned out nice.
The country side looks beautiful.

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
